Follow our ten simple steps below to make sure you have done everything you need to have a great show!
CONCERT CHECKLIST
1. COSTUMES
All students participating in our concert wear costumes. Students MUST complete the Concert Costume Sizing Form. If you need assistance measuring your little ballerina, you can simply attend our Costume Measuring Session on Saturday 31 August 2019 from 8.30 - 10.30am at the studio.
2. STAGE MAKE-UP
All students wear simple stage make-up to enhance their faces under the harsh stage lighting. Watch our Stage Make-Up Tutorial below to see how it’s done - easy! Note….if you do not want your child to wear stage make-up, that’s no worries, please just let us know.
3. STAGE HAIR
All students wear a fake hairpiece to make doing their hair super simple! Rather than get you to do elaborate hair styles, you just put the hairpiece over your bun. You can purchase your hairpiece at Attitude Australia in Mitchell. Watch our Stage Hair Tutorial below to see how it’s done - easy!
4. CONCERT T-SHIRT AND STOCKINGS
Every student MUST have a white Pointe2Pointe T-shirt for the finale of the concert. Need a spare pair of stockings too? Just complete the Uniform & Merchandise Order Form below to place your order.
5. CONCERT DVD
Want to watch your little superstar perform over and over again….forever??!! Then make sure you order the Concert DVD - such a great keepsake! Just complete the Concert DVD Order Form below to place your order.
6. CONCERT PHOTOGRAPHY
Our amazing photographers capture all the best live-action moments of our concert! The photos are some of the best around! Don’t forget to place an order to access all photos from the show. Just complete the Concert Photo Order Form below to place your order.
7. VOLUNTEERS
We cannot stage our fabulous concert without the invaluable help of our Concert Volunteers. You can assist in a variety of ways - no job is too big or too small and your kids absolutely love knowing you are a part of it! Sign up today using the below button.
8. COLOURING COMPETITION
Our annual colouring competition is a favourite amongst the kids! Be as creative as you can to be in the running to win some cool prizes and remember.…there is no such thing as too much glitter!! Grab a copy at the studio or simply download one below! Don’t forget to submit it with a gold coin donation that helps fund our props department!
9. CONCERT TICKETS
There’s no show without our amazing and supportive audience! Bring along Grandma, your neighbours, and even your pet elephant! Well maybe not the elephant….!! Tickets go on sale at 9.00am on Monday 21 October via StageCenta.com Be quick - tickets always SELL OUT super duper fast!
10. PRACTISE, PRACTISE, PRACTISE!
All students receive, via email, a DropBox link to their concert music and a video of their concert dances so they can practice at home! This particularly helps our tiniest ballerinas feel confident on stage. If you haven’t received your link via email by 5.00pm on Monday 4 November, email us to request your link!
